I’ll tell you where to shove your cable

Steve Hardy (of Creative Generalist) has some all-too-familiar complaints about Videotron's service.

I see I'm not the only one who's had these issues.

    To be fair to Videotron, when my cable internet cut out on a weekend a couple of months back, they sent out a technician to fix it pronto – on a Sunday, too. He poked around, went and got a ladder, climbed up a pole out back, and then it worked. Plus then they call you up to make sure you're satisfied with the results. Not too bad.

    Luck of the draw when you're dealing with subcontractors. Some of them are great (one refused to leave my apartment last year until he could solve my cable problem for me), while others aren't.
