I am very unhappy that are govement is not caring about local tv. I think they really have one goal to take are arts and film and freedom away.
I belive they are happy with taking away are radio stations and are tv stations. They do not wont local tv and I am very upset. I watch two great shows on TV on SCN that is about are police services filmed right in the citys of sask. The other one is DRUG CLASS produced by copper rock if they cut local tv then they cut peoples postive lifes and choices they have made. so I think the govement should ask themselfs why they would cut local tv when they are taking a break from govement maybe thats why they did take a break so they could cut all the air waves in canada so we do not get fm or am radio or tv and their next move is going tobe are own freedoom its time to for a new govement

The Quebec City and Sherbrooke bureaus are toast, and local newscasts will be replaced with “virtual sets” controlled by master control centres in Toronto and Western Canada. It’s unclear how this will affect programming at Global Quebec, since they’re already at their bare minimum of 18 hours of regional programming a week. [...]

It started when Global got rid of all the Master Control's and consolodated them to Calgary. When Goldman-Sachs gains control of Canwest in a few years, EVERYTHING will be run from New York.
