This week's bluffer's guide is about U.S. presidential primaries, the first of which was held this week. It's about as much information as I could cram into 750 words about the overly complicated process on both sides.

Cool Article. So 750 word limit. Isn't that a little constrictive? Or is that because if it were to long people wouldn't read it?
It's an inherent flaw in newspapers, especially on pages (such as Seven Days) where the layout changes very little from week to week. Sometimes that means that articles come up short and need filler, sometimes it means you need to increase focus because there's just so much out there.
For better or worse, it forces you to do a lot of self-editing and make sure every word counts.
Heh, true, and keep room for ad-space and everything. Not like you have unlimited space such as web-space.
