You're sitting at the lights on Blvd Senneville just south of the 40. Suddenly the highway collapses blocking you from your intended destination of just north of the 40.... (detour via L'anse a l'orme) Yes no maybe? great question.

PS: you'ze gotz mad photoshopz skillz

The west end of Norman street looks like it connects to the end of Boulevard Roccho Cacchioti through private roads in the train yard. The detour would be horrendous. From the end of Norman, backtrack east along Norman to Claire Crescent, then do a 180 and head west along the 20 to the 13, then north along the 13 to Courval and then Hickmore, finally another 180 onto Rocco Cacchioti and heading south, parallel to the 13 in the opposite direction all the way back down.

I should specify that there is an existing road directly connecting A and B.

Cavendish at the tracks is a good guess. 5.5km detour. But it's not the longest.

Didn't you recently publish a story on a locked fence that protects the innocent inhabitants of Kirkland against the ravaging hordes of Pierrefonds?
