If any Fleet and Sherbrooke is game, then one has to go to Beaconsfield. The answer to the question is 0 km and 0 minutes. Fleet Dr. and Sherbrooke St. intersect.

It’s only 2.25 kilometres if you cut up Cavendish. Good wide street, 50 clicks most of the way … I’m not gonna do the math.

Using Mare’s path (comment 2)….
The speed limit in Outremont is 40 km/hr
The speed limit in Plateau-Mont-Royal and TMR is 50 km/hr
The distance covered in Outremont is 2.95 km. At 40 km/hr, no red lights and stop signs = 4.43 minutes
The distance covered in TMR and Plateau-Mont-Royal is 2.15 km. At 50 km/hr, no red lights nor stop signs = 2.58 minutes. Subtotal: 7.01 minutes. Round trip, 14 minutes +/- a couple of seconds.

It is relatively straight forward if the Fleet Street is rue Fleet in Cote-St-Luc. To/From Sherbrooke the most efficient way is straight down Cavendish, note the absense of one-ways. It is 2.30 km. 1.73 km is in NDG at 40km/hr = 2.6 minutes. 0.57 km is in CSL at 50 km/hr, 0.68 minutes. Therefore it would take 3.3 minutes to get from Sherbrooke to Fleet, running each red light along the way.

That is of course it is Fleet in CSL, not Fleet next to TMR ;-)

Ho wait, stop the presses, there is a shorter way:

5.1 km from Sherbrooke to Fleet (Park, Côte St Catherine, McAechran, Rockland, Graham, Fleet)
5.1 km back (same point on Fleet, via Beaumont, Rockland, Davaar and Côte St Catherine, Park)

At least that is what Google says, but knowing you there is probably a snag, like a street that is one way that Google doesn’t know about or so.

I usually *ride* and don’t drive so that would take me about 40 minutes.

By car at 50 km/h that would take 12 minutes and 24 seconds.
Unless there is a part where one could drive 70, but that would surprise me. O wait, are there any schools on that stretch, with 30 km/h speed limits? There is an arena on McAechran…

So 13.5 minutes.
