Think the CBC is ready to ruin yet another RadCan gem by creating a bad copy of it in English?
I hate to say it because an anglo version of Tout le monde is something that I would eat right up, but English-Canadian talk shows just don’t work in this era. It was disastrous when they tried on the CBC with Ralph Benmergui, and while Mike Bullard’s show was a different animal, at its worst, it was torturous.
I’d love to see a show like this and I’d love to see it thrive, but I don’t think it would.
