The Globe had a THIRTY PAGE Auto section yesterday. Seriously. Felt like I accidentally picked up two copies.

But, you know, I know people who like reading it. Car guys. People who buy cars now and then. Specs and pics folks. So, meh. Taste is fickle. Point in case: reading a book = excellent. Having someone go on and on about how they read this book which made them feel weird and they can't figure out why but it might have to do with postmodern angst and creative poverty and that sociology class they had in undergrad? Christ.

sometimes i'm thinking the media was solely invented so that companies could persuade people to buy more (unwanted) stuff.
