I was reading habs inside out the other day… caught an old story about Emery going to Russia. I’m probably a little oversensitive on this one, but I got the distinct feeling that every story about Emery in someway brings up his race, being one of a small (but growing) group of black NHL players. It’s usually pretty subtle. From referring to his “hip hop” lifestyle, or his “pimp like” style, etc.
