I'm from Montreal but have lived in East Asia for a long time. Whenever I go back, I'm shocked at how paltry and frankly ridiculous The Gazette has become. We still have real broadsheets in Japan - big wide newspapers with high circulations and brimming with articles and ads - because there's the population to support them. Sadly, The Gazette looks like a withered pamphlet in comparison. While regrettable, when you consider the decline in newspapers overall these latest "improvements" seem like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

hey steve, the link to 'a weekly look ahead calender' is pointing to a 'no longer existing page', typo perhaps? I was totally going to ask for the inclusion of my grandma's 100th birthday... ;) (PS, please kill this comment when you're done)

First the Sunday paper turned into a 1-section catch all...now Monday - I see a trend. My weekday reading habit of the Gazette is to read it after work, usually while eating dinner. I'm not looking for the latest news, as it isn't exactly current by the time I'm reading the paper. I do like separate sections, though, as we can pass them around the table as they are finished.
Good thing I'm getting the weekday Gazette for 1 cent a week...when that runs out, I'll have to assess if I want to pay for it.
