I should probably unsubscribe from this job listing service that sends me occasional emails (since I currently have a job and all), but then I'd miss gems like this one:

"Point of sale" has always resulted in an unfortunate abbreviation.
Same goes with POC (Proof of concept) in the software development world. It often turns out to be nothing more than a POC (piece of crap) in the end.
I've worked in telecoms a while back and the system had an abreviation fo "follow-up" and yes, it was F-U.
