To be clear, I don't question your credentials in this area. It's some of your industry colleagues (and really the size of the industry) that gets me sometimes.

Furthermore, all the bookmarks that were used to craft my speech were published in advance here. http://www.michelleblanc.com/2009/03/12/conference-sur-et-si-jetais-proprietaire-du-journal-de-montreal/

I have not seen any bookmark or any stats or substantiated data coming from your esteem colleague Jean-François Codère.

Steve, Steve, Steve,
You say that I am guilty of generalizations. Strangely enough, if you really listened to my presentation, you would have heard that I spoke, for instance, of the Nordjyske newspaper example of sucessfull convergence (http://www.nieman.harvard.edu/reportsitem.aspx?id=100281), and of the article To Prepare for the Future, Skip the Present (http://www.nieman.harvard.edu/reportsitem.aspx?id=100669). So the examples I tlked about came from Nieman Fondation For Journalism at Harvard. I also never apointed myself as a self proclaimed "social media marketing experts" but Yahoo Canada (Big Idea Chair personality), BNP Paribas and a score of other medias and institutions did. I also make a point of citing my sources and bias before I start my conference. I therefore beleive it is you that suffer from "generalizations".
