In case you haven’t heard, they’re coming back to radio (NRJ), starting Jan. 18. Coverage from Cyberpresse, Rue Frontenac, or just read the statement (PDF).

And if you have no idea who the heck les Grandes Gueules are, you can check out Wikipedia and their website.

This is great news for anyone who has ever listened to Richard Turcotte and les Grandes Gueules. Radio in Quebec has not been the same since they left and I for one have stopped listening to Énergie and have switched to Radio-Canada. This will definately make me change my habits back to the new NRJ because no one has EVER made me laugh in english or french as hard as Les Grandes Gueules… I mean anytime that you can mock Youppi, Guy Lafleur and Jos Théodore in the same 1:30, you know it’s going to be a good drive home!

I respectfully disagree. Good for fans, perhaps, but don’t generalize your tastes on everyone.
