What ya gonna see is brown sand, stubby cedars, some cactus and dead animals along the road. I drove Phoenix to Grand Canyon 2 weeks ago. Apart from the urban centers of a certain size there is nothing there. Vistas of the mountains abound on Flickr.

Just drop the little yellow guy on some other part of Pierrefonds and you should be able to get pretty much the same thing as your unmapped street.

Dorval Island, Roxboro, parts of Ste Anne de Bellevue and parts of Pierrefonds along the north edge of the island are not Street View enabled yet.

I've been playing with this a bit. I recently revisited a drive I took years ago back up from Sedona to the I-40 west of Flagstaff. I do hope that Google gets around to Street mapping more highways (though I can't imagine that anyone other than stay-at-home armchair travellers like me would be interested?).

The cool part is putting your cursor as far down the road as Google will let you, then clicking on the little oval and zipping up to that spot. It's what I always wanted travelling to be like!

It looks like someone drew a line and uploaded everything to the west of the line (when looking at the South Shore specifically). There are streets with Street View that are only reachable via other streets that are not included simply because they are to the east of this imaginary line.

Example: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=45.468092,-73.387213&spn=0.003642,0.016029&z=16&layer=c&cbll=45.46938,-73.387747&panoid=ixIkYDW8xPEkYV5TzR3GUw&cbp=11,213.97,,0,5

It's kind of stupid considering part of Saint-Hubert is not included even though it's much closer to the downtown core than, say, Sainte-Dorothee, Laval.

I wonder why Saint-Bruno wasn't included along with the rest of the South Shore of Montreal (particularly, those towns belonging to Longueuil).
