Love your blog, love PL's blog. There is a lotta love between you guys, you always refer to each other once in a while in your blog posts... Hell, it's how I got to learn about you and now your blog is part of my daily routine, along with P.L., even on weekends. You're saying anyone but Foglia, but he's not on top of the list... Seeing an Eric Clapton show is a low blow... I see Laporte is not taking part of this fundraiser... good thing! His ''Tom from MySpace'' style picture is just annoying... doesn't help that is blogs are boring too...

It's one of my favourite shows on Quebec television. Not all the interview subjects interest me, but when I recognize the face (or am interested in the issue), I'll watch it intently.

I didn't know about this Les francs-tireurs show until now. I'm watching a couple episodes on the Télé-Québec site. and it's quite good. The production is really slick and interesting and I like the interview style. Confrontational in a diplomatic way, not like the American style interviewers.

I wouldn't consider Lagacé poetic. And Foglia is obviously a very talented writer (most newspaper columnists are). But he needs to be taken off his high horse just a bit. Let's teach him some humility.

That part about trying to beat Foglia is really funny.

But is there more than a joke there?
I mean, nobody in his right mind would think that Lagacé can write as well as Foglia, right? Lagacé knows how to find a good angle on a subject, but he doesn't have half the style and the wit of his old colleague. And still, he's good... but not half as good as the other.

The best prize would be to be allowed to perk over Foglia's shoulder when he writes... and try to understand how he manages to be so nasty, poetic and original all at the same time.
