Le Soeil made the best use of the image of Joannie with hands together. Its, bold, uncluttered and focused. The Gazette had a distant and foggy image that conveyed sadness and little triumph as their headline declares. The Le Soleil picture was powerful and able to stand alone to convey the message. For the Gazette 'Words matter' but a picture is worth a 1000 words.
