The media comparison between the USA and England is `spot on`.
I laughed for a good minute. When I listen to callers on Red Eye radio overnight, their ignorance and disdain of FOOTBALL ( i call it by its real name ) is bordering on legendary. Actually the theme most often heard is that soccer (as they call it ) is on the rise in the USA in areas that cater to immigrants, illegal or not.

I have to say, this soccer mania the rest of the world really borders on insanity. Entire countries are acting as if their entire survival and reason to exist depends on winning a soccer game. I say, enjoy the game. But don't let the game destroy you.
