Now they're destined for wherever they sent that 2010 Flyers merchandise, or the 2009 Red Wings stuff.
I want that shirt! If only to see how many people will be tricked.
Usually this "unusable" merchandise (t-shirts, caps...) is donated to some of the poorer countries in the world. This way it doesn't end up in collectors hands and they do a little bit of good.
Maybe a recipient in a poorer counter will google what's on the t-shirt, and discover that North American collectors would pay good money. :)
