I really was hoping getting bought out by Shaw would make a difference. They throw around words like "redundancy", "efficiency", and "lean" and I'm stuck here playing with the Chromakey. I'm a news reader dammit, I don't know the first thing about this technology.
"Master get me a new gig" - It always worked for Barbara Eden on I Dream of Jeannie. Just move my lips, blink the eyes and swoosh a different color screen. All I get is green every time. Oh well I guess that only happens on those big budget newscasts !!

I heard the new morning show at global has been "put on hold". is this true? what a joke!!!
Unless something has changed in the past week and a half, it's still set to debut this fall.
Global's new morning show is not going to happen. PUT ON HOLD FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD
What's your source for that? The morning shows were put on hold last summer, but Global tells me the show is still being planned for launch this year.
