Mostly cribbed from last year’s guide.
Here’s what to expect from the Montreal-area transit authorities for service this holiday season, including special holiday service schedules and free service days.
Once again, I ask that you have some sympathy for the bus or metro driver who has to work during the holidays getting whiny vomiting drunk people from A to B in thick snow.

Isn’t the CAM thingy about january outdated considering OPUS?
Thanks man for the guide!
Oops, I left in a bit from last year I meant to take out.
In fact, Dec. 31 marks the official end of the magnetic-strip monthly pass, which is still being used by the AMT because some smaller transit agencies have been slow to install Opus machines.
I heard from a CIT Vallée Richelieu driver that they should have it by April — two years after it first started on the STM. CITVR already has all the equipment installed and so does MRC Les Moulins and L’Assomption. CITSO and CITHSL are slow. I still wonder how their gonna get those big ITS MAX fareboxes inside the coaches…
