Classifieds ahoy!

Rue Frontenac, the website of locked-out Journal de Montréal workers, launched its classified ad section today. Their taking classifieds by phone or email. No prices are listed online.

Meanwhile

• Martin Brodeur’s first column for Rue Frontenac is online. In it, he explains why he wouldn’t write for the Journal while they were locked out (among his reasons is that his father was a photographer for Montréal Matin), and he gives his thoughts on Canadiens goaltender Carey Price
• The Journal has pulled its support from a charity that Jacques Demers is heavily involved with. Demers and Rue Frontenac suggest that this is in retaliation for Demers’s decision to no longer write for the Journal de Montréal. Way to punish the disadvantaged, PKP.
• Astral marketing people visited the picket lines. Additional solidarity from Infoman and this guy.
• Patrick Dion isn’t crazy about Guy A. making fun of Richard Martineau.
• The Journal is still selling out in grocery stores, according to Chroniques Blondes (who until recently was a Journal columnist). My experience has been similar – the Journal isn’t exactly being left on the shelves.
