How about the proposed Montreal City-State?

Depends how you define it. Would it include Longueuil, where Charle Cournoyer’s from? Or Deux-Montagnes (Mikael Kingsbury)? Do you count Alex Bilodeau as being from Montreal or Rosemere? Things get more complicated the more local you get.

Besides those cases, it’s just the Dufour-Lapointe sisters, plus those members of the hockey teams from Montreal.

I was being somewhat facetious. If you’re having this much trouble defining the parameters of Montreal for a pretend Olympic medal count, I can imagine what things will be like if this proposal takes flight for real and politicians are left to haggle over real boundaries. Who would get Crimea, so to speak?
